LATNEM Peer Support (SC051029)

We are a peer support organisation run by mothers with lived experience of mental ill health. Around 1 in 5 will develop a mental illness in the ante/perinatal period. At LATNEM we’ve been there and now provide a safe, free mental health peer support service for mums and birthing people in Scotland.

We host face to face group meetings in Moray, Aberdeenshire and Aberdeen City. Our online meetings are Scotland wide.

In addition to our core peer support service, we offer activities such as Group Psychology, Emotional Freedom Technique, Walk and Talk, Playdates and more!

We support service users with typically one or more of the following conditions*; low mood, overwhelm, Perinatal mental health, Perinatal Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Perinatal Mood disorders, Postnatal depression (PND), Antenatal Depression, Antenatal Anxiety, Perinatal Anxiety, Birth trauma and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
